Pop Century Construction - Should We Move?

I recently booked Pop Century for the end of January. I just noticed the following from Disney's website:
In addition, starting October 2016, some areas of Disney's Pop Century Resort will undergo refurbishment to refresh our offerings and atmosphere. We may not be able to accommodate requests for rooms in specific buildings. It is possible that you may see and hear construction. To minimize any disruptions, we will attempt to limit work to 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

I'm assuming this will still be going on at the end of January. Does anyone know if that's the case? Going by previous hotel renovations, would you advise moving to another hotel? We will definitely be staying at a Value and we stayed at A of A 4 yrs ago and wanted to try another hotel. From doing a little research it appears that most prefer Pop over the other values because of the bus situation. I have no other experience at any other values except for A of A. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't think you'll need to change your resort. They will try to accommodate you in another building that is not being refurbished. If you arrive and it's an issue, have the front desk move you.

There was a permit filed recently for room rehabs in all 10 buildings at Pop lasting until 12/15/2017.

When they refurb rooms they will close at a minimum the wing/floor, or potentially the entire building. So you shouldn't be impacted at all, other than possibly seeing some equipment around during the days while they move/stage things.
