Pop and Caribbean: Same Magical Express Route?

My DH thinks we're staying at the Pop Century for our anniversary trip in November, but as a surprise for him I made our reservation at the Caribbean Beach instead! I don't plan on telling him about the new resort until we get to Orlando.

My question: do Pop and Caribbean share the same Magical Express bus since they are right next to each other? I want to keep CB a secret as long as I possibly can - ideally until we get off the ME bus at the resort!

Next week will be my first time riding DME, but don't you have to check in at the desk at the airport and tell them which resort you're going to?

They were on the same bus when we went last December. CBR was the first stop.

Thankfully I'm the one who handles all the paperwork/confirmations/check ins for the vacation. I guarantee you he won't be paying attention when we check in at the ME podium! He will just follow me to whichever line they direct is to.

It's not guaranteed, but both times I've used DME to get to Pop Century it's stopped at CBR first.

One option would be to have him go over to the chairs area off to your left as you approach the DME area and tell him you'll just check in and then get him when you're done. Then approach the CM and tell them what you're trying to do, see if they'll work with you to mis-direct his attention.

One thing to keep in mind is that the yellow luggage tags will say Caribbean Beach on them, so you'd have to keep them out of sight of your husband.

You also need to remember that before you get on the bus the driver or their helper will look at your paperwork and verify with you which resort you are going to. You don't want to get caught in the "Two for Caribbean Beach?" and say no Pop. Maybe make him go stow your carry ons?

Also for us Pop was first last time because we rode with a family of 15. That was the only time that has happened. Good luck with this.

Everytime I have stayed at POP and have taken the magical express, we have stopped at CBR first!

There is no guarantee at DME at MCO that the CBR and Pop lines will be the same; they will look at your booklet at the podium and tell you what line to get in to wait, if you are going to CBR they will direct you to the CBR line. The Pop line may be a separate line.

I just stayed at CBR 2 weeks ago and our Magical Express bus went to CBR and continued to boardwalk & beach club. No Pop. Maybe it depends on people arriving that day at the airport.
