If I'm not mistaken, the resort pools are open 24 hrs. a day. The lifeguards at AKL leave at 10 PM and close down the slide, but guests are allowed to stay in the pool.
No, not all WDW pools are 24 hours. I just got back from the Grand Floridian and their pool with the slide was only opened until 8pm. However they never asked anyone to leave after 8 just closed the slide.
The pools are open for swimming 24 hours a day. After the lifeguards leave it is swim at your own risk. There is also no slide when the Lifeguards leave.
Hmmm...I never see people swimming from like 10 pm to 8 am or so....guess it's just because that's not a prime time to be swimming...of course, I always go in February, so it gets pretty cold at night...this will be my first trip in August next week.
We were there in April and were told when we checked in that the pool stays open 24hours. We swam until midnight lots of nights but the bar closes at 10:00. I couldn't remember what time the lifeguards left when we were there, but I know the slide was usually closed by the time we got there at night.
It's gorgeous at night. We had a pool view and sometimes I would get up in the middle of the night and look outside. I saw very few people in the pool really late, but I know it was opened.
