Polynesian Resort Question

I just stayed at the Polynesian Resort last week and have a question I was there for the luau 3 years ago and I swear I remember a bar being at the end of the dock where you catch the boat. Was there a bar at the end of the dock it was a foggy night and cannot remember. because there is no bar there now.

There is a bar near the pool/boat area. Is that the one you are talking about?

Im not sure it was that one It was foggy out and i swear it was on a dock with water all around. And I dont know what the old pool at the polynesian looked like.

Well that is the only bar there (outdoors).

Maybe we can get Tikiman to help us out here.

As you walk down to the dock, there is a pool bar on the right, It's not at the end of the dock, but it's right on it, next to the pool like DisneyInsider mentioned....

I am here. I have been a little sick and now I am trying to catch up on work stuff.

As far as the bar goes, the Barefoot bar has always been at the pool but very close to the dock that goes out to the boat. The bar was redone when they built the volcano pool but it is in about the same location so they did not have to reroute the pluming.

Ok that answered my question, It was a really foggy afternoon and i swear it was on the pier. it must of been where the bearfoot bar is now. It just seem like the the older bar was so much better they had a full bar and stuff, the barfoot bar seemed like they hardy had anything there to drink.

As far as I know the new Barefoot bar is a full bar.

I must also say thank you for the site. It was so helpful for my last trip. By the way we loved the polynesian and I agree with you 100% that it is the best resort.

I do think that WDW has many great resorts. I have tried to stay at a few of them and I did enjoy my stay but I have a hard time being at another resort and knowing I could be at the Polynesian.

I also think that polynesian is the best but its the only deluxe room I ever stayed at, The loctain is great easy to get to epcot not to crowed at all.

Also tikiman your site is great it helped me out alot, great information. keep up the good work.
