Well we're thinking of going back to WDW in June. Only for 4 days. We were planning on staying at the Polynesian and having breakfast at 'Ohana's. I know they have a character breakfast, but who is there beside Mickey. Anyone been there recently or is any going there before June. Please let us know, we have a very anxious 6 year old and if I have to go to Chef Mickey's one more time (been there 10 times so far) I'll scream:lol:

Hi Lilo! (She's currently my fav. Disney character) We recently went to the world for New Years. We stayed at All-Star Movies and on the 29th of December, I had made reservations for the Ohana character breakfast. It was GREAT! I will def. do it again. Character's include: Mickey, Goofy, Chip, and Dale. The characters really spend a lot of time at your table and really interact well with the guests. We (myself (15) brother (27) and sister-in-law (31)) really didnt expect the characters to stick around us for very long since we had no children, but suprisingly... they did! Mickey and Dale kinda tag-teamed on me and were adiment on ruining my hair for the day.. and they sure did. They kept creeping up on me and pulling the hood on my pullover, over my head. The breakfast itself is All-You-Can-Eat. They serve it family style. They bring it on a big bowl type thing that sits on a Lazy-Susan. The food includes potaoes, mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, and some kind of pineapple bread. Orange juice is included. It is 16.99 per Adult (not sure on children). Our total bill came to 55 something. We really had fun, even though our waitress was a bit crabby. Hope this helps! :p Sorry if I said more than I should have.. this just brought back memories :)

Thanks for the input. We have had breakfast at Chef Mickey's with all those characters and more. The last time we went (Thanksgiving 2002) we ate at the Beach Club which also had Goofy, Chip & Dale, and Minnie (who only took pictures and didn't visit the tables). Wanted to see what was different, which is the family-style eating. The other two you got up to get your food as with any buffet.

We did Ohana breakfast in March. It was awesome. With kids the family style is great. You sit at your table and they keep filling up the bowls of food. You never have to worry about missing a character while you go to the buffet. Plus it cuts down on chaos. The parade around the place is great too.

I highly recommend this breakfast. I am not sure but most of my family likes this style better than the buffet and thinks the food is better.

Just our 2 cents.

The other thing they do at O'Hana's that's different is the character parade. All the kids that want to get up and follow the characters around the restaurant, there's so music I think and the kids get small ryhthm instruments to play. It's really fun. They do this numerous times throughout the day. And the characters are wearing aloha wear. We did it last spring break and even my 12 year old liked it.

We did the breakfast and our kids loved it, 14,12 and 10. The food just kept on coming, but remember if you are in a hurry you must wait for it to be prepared and served to you . This is the big difference time wise,, especially if it is crowded, verses a go and help yourself buffet. Also watch where they sit you when you take pictures, we had a great view of the lagoon, but there was alot of sun glare in our pictures and in our faces at that time in the morning. Another option would be to take the monorail to the GF and try breakfast with Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Dopey and the Mad Hatter. My kids got a hoot out of the Mad Hatter trying to find Alice. Have fun and remember to make a PS , the earlier the better so you don't miss any park time, especially when in starts getting hotter sooner in the day.
