Poly to POR

I have an AR at 8:50pm at Kona. Mk closes at 8 pm on that night. Will the buses still be running from TTC to POR at around 10pm? If not, what are your suggestions for the best way to get from the Poly to POR after hours?

Hmmm...I wouldn't count on WDW transportation for that. Buses tend to run up to 2 hours FROM theme parks after closing, but not certain about TTC. Besides, you don't want to rush through dinner either.

I would suggest taking a cab from the Poly to POR. You'll be looking at about $20, but at least you won't have to worry about it.

Yup - That would work as well. All depends on how much time you want to spend. You could be waiting 30 minutes for a bus to DTD (as we often did form the Poly). Then, you could be waiting another 15-30 minutes at DTD for a bus or boat back to POR. But it would certainly work.

You already got good advice, but I just wanted to clear up that there is no such thing as a Disney Transport bus that runs between TTC and any of the Disney owned-and-operated resorts.

Buses from resorts to DTD run quite late. You'd be cutting it close at MK, though you'd probably be OK - they run buses until well after the park is cleared. Usually, people shop the Main Street USA stores until well after the park officially closes.

You can't catch a bus from TTC to Downtown Disney. That bus route doesn't exist. From TTC you can get to Magic Kingdom by monorail or ferry; to Epcot by monorail; and to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom (separately) by bus.

I agree. For $20, the piece of mind and convenience is well worth it.
