I just went for a garden view b/c it was becoming to much. but here is the question... where are some of the best garden view rooms? are there any? Just looking for tips in general. thanks!

There are many great garden view rooms. I will give you an idea of views but I usually recommend trying to get into Tokelau and I will tell you why below.

Garden views and buildings

Aotearoa: View of either the garden area and monorail or a view of the garden area with partial beach and lagoon view.

Tuvalu: garden view rooms in Tuvalu are some of the worst because it looks right into the end of the Fiji Longhouse.

Fiji: views either looking toward the beach over near Luau Cove or views of the marina looking across to the back side of the Volcano pool.

Samoa: views of either the volcano pool or views of the quiet pool.

Niue: about the same view as Samoa but no 3rd floor and the entire building is smoking.

Rarotonga: views of the garden area and monorail (with a slight view toward the parking lot but most rooms can not even see it) or views of the quiet pool.

Rapa Nui: mostly wheelchair accessible rooms with views toward Tahiti and the garden areas or a view looking directly toward the parking lot.

Tahiti: view of the garden area.

Hawaii: view toward the quiet pool (concierge rooms only)

Now I saved the best for last.

Tokelau: Tokelau faces either the quiet pool or the garden area between Tahiti and Rapa Nui but the direction the building faces and the space between the other buildings allows many of the rooms an angled view of the lagoon for a garden view price. On one side you can see much of the lagoon looking toward the Contemporary and on the other side you can see the lagoon, GF, castle and fireworks from many of the rooms. Now it is not a direct view like a lagoon view room would be but you are not paying the price of a lagoon view.

I hope this helps.

Aloha
