Poly phase 2?

When I called member services to book our December trip at our 7 month window, I tried to get The Poly (not our home resort), but due to an appointment I was unable to call at 9:00 and missed out. I was told that there was going to be a phase 2 of the studios and more buildings were being converted so I was put on the waitlist. It was HIGHLY recommended by member services that I request to be put on the 7 day not the 31 day waitlist. Does anyone know if they are converting more buildings to DVC studios, and if so, any speculation as to when they may open?

First, even if they WERE considering more DVC at the Poly, it's not going to be done by December. Unless I completely missed some secret construction, they're done.

They are currently converting resort rooms at Wilderness Lodge into DVC Villas, and they're proposing to build some DVC Cabins at WL. Perhaps the phone agent was grossly confused.

There is a Phase 2 that is scheduled to open the rest of the Studio rooms Summer 2015. So should be open soon. I need to find the link that specifically said this but yes there always was Phase 2 with the rest of the Studios to finish.

Yes regular CM's are usually not wonderful sometimes but usually DVC member services CM's I find are usually more knowledgable and more often correct then not when i have had to deal with them. So whether it was planned and halted or whatever I know it was supposed to open the rest of the Studio rooms this summer. Who knows if anything changed but it was SUPPOSED to happen. Lol
