I would like to conduct a very unscientific poll among AP holders. Please make a choice in the poll if you are an AP holder.

Thanks!

I'm renewing, but begrudgingly. I know i'll take 2 trips this year and regular ticket prices are absolutely obscene compared to the renewal rate.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
I don't think I've ever renewed. It always seems to work out better for me to let my AP expire and buy new my next trip.

For the other info you request, I love what Disney management is doing with the resort.

Technically the same for us but once we buy it again we squeeze 2 two week trips almost exactly a year apart then let it lapse until we go again then start the cycle over. So we get 26-28 days each time we get an AP. I also love what they have been doing as well. ;)

We've been APs since 2011. When we renewed this year, we dropped down to the silver (seasonal) level. This was mainly because they added blackout dates to our former pass (now known as gold level) so instead of paying a lot more to be able to go any day of the year, we dropped all the way down. Thankfully silver has free parking, something seasonal never had. Made the decision very easy.

We've since added SeaWorld/Busch Gardens APs to fill the gaps, and boy do they actually love their pass holders. And their Christmas offerings have been fantastic!

We're renewing because it's very cost effective for us to get them, and we pay monthly, so it's not an egregiously expensive investment all at once. Plus the extra perks for this year are nice, and we're of the mindset that an AP is a steal with the number of times that we go, even with the recent price hikes.

I will probably renew, but not get the platinum this year. That's a lot of extra money to feel like you have to go during the two weeks at Christmas and two weeks at spring break to make it worth it. So now I have to decide if I need gold or go ahead and drop down to silver.

I'm renewing because I have two trips on the books that make the renewal price a better option than paying for tickets out of pocket. Not renewing Tables in Wonderland though...the types of trips I'm taking, in addition to the newly added AP dining discounts for this year, make it not worth it financially this time around.

Wish they had a monthly payment plan for out-of-state holders like they do Florida residents...dropping that cash in one chunk this month was not fun, lol.

You didn't have, "Yes, I care about what Disney management is doing to the resort". That doesn't necessarily mean you like, love, or are indifferent. You may not even like it. But I'll renew the Silver Pass because it works best for me as a Florida Resident.

Edit: I just saw Yes - Though I'm slightly disappointed with what Disney management is doing with the resort so am choosing that one.

My wife and I just renewed for the first time. We contemplated it and decided to renew just this once since 1) we get a free month for the 45th anniversary; 2) we still don't have to pay for my son until later on in 2017 when he turns 3; and 3) my best friend of 35 years lives in Orlando so it's easy to have an "excuse" to go to the parks. If my son was already 3 I definitely would have let my AP lapse and then considered a repurchase after Star Wars/Pixar/Pandora had been open for a few years.

Yes, We renew every year. As locals, living less than 5 miles from property it really is a no-brainer for us. We go to the parks at least three times per week ... More in the summer months as we visit the water parks about every other day it seems.

For $650 (give or take) for the Platinum Plus pass on renewing. It really is a great value to us when you consider we visit the parks probably around 150+ days per year. And yes, we go that much. It may just be for dinner, to hang out with friends, drinks, etc. We use the (you know what) out of our passes.

The main reason we actually relocated to Orlando was to spend more time at Disney. I can do my job from basically anywhere. Why not be right next door to where we use to visit for vacations instead of having to travel here.

Side question for everyone...I know if you purchase an AP by January we get an extra month. If I buy before the cutoff and don't activate until Dec. 2017 will we still get the 13th month so as to go until sometime in January 2019? Ours had lapsed this year because we didn't have a trip and want to buy ahead if we get 13 months regardless of when we activate if I buy before the cutoff. Or do I need to activate by Jan 2017 to get the extra month? ;)

I'm renewing because A. it gives me reasons and an "excuse" to get away, and B. it's so much cheaper than to flat out buy a new one in the coming years.

Color me largely disappointed with the way the place is run.
