Just started to look into this.

How many points is it typically to stay at one of the timeshares say for a week?

Thanks

One week in a studio at one of the 5 DVC home resorts at WDW will run you from 80 to 134 points. That depends on which resort you pick and which time of year you visit.

This does not include the Premier weeks of Easter Vacation and Christmas Vacation, which are higher.

hello! I believe you can go on the DVC website or any disney website and find the point calculator.I hope this helps you figure what amount of points to buy.

I believe only dvc members get access to the calculator but point values can be found.

It is not a simple answer to your question. It depends.....on resort, accomadation size, view(at boardwalk), time of year and day of the week. generally friday and saturday nights are 2x points of reat of the week.

As mentioned, it can vary wildly based on resort and time of year.

For example, here are the points required for a one week stay in 2006 at each resort as they vary by season in a STUDIO:

Old Key West: 80-147
Boardwalk: 85-156
Saratoga Springs: 95-163
Wilderness Lodge: 104-181
Beach Club: 104-181

That's just for a STUDIO. For a one bedroom it's generally about DOUBLE those points. Add more for a 2-bedroom, suite, etc....

Those point quotes do include the premier weeks. Outside of those weeks, the point estimations that I listed for a studio are correct.
