My sister is staying there during february break and she just got a letter in the mail from disney saying the pool will be closed while she is there.
Thanks. I haven't gotten a letter yet but will plan on the closure.

Yes, shes ed to say the least, i told her to complain and see if she can switch hotels.

It's annoying but well needed. I was thinking in September when we were there how the pool needs a good cleaning and new coat of paint. They are offering shuttles to riverside and it's really not a far walk, but could be bothersome with children.
I'd imagine if you call reservations and explain nicely that it is inconvenient and you would like to switch to another moderate and there are rooms available they will accommodate you the best they can.

I'm feeling down just because it seems every day there's another closure/refurb notice for the time period we'll be there. I know February is a month they use for refurbs and it's what you get in return for low crowds but ugh. It will still be a great trip.
