Quick question: Does the boat just go to DTD or does it stop at all the hotels along the way?

Would like to use the fitness centre at Saratoga Springs since Port Orleans doesn't have one.

The boat from French Quarter just goes to Downtown Disney, French Quarter and Riverside. To get to Saratoga Springs, you would have to take a boat to Downtown Disney, walk from the Marketplace to the West Side, and board a different boat (or just walk to Saratoga Springs from Downtown Disney as there's a walkway). The boat doesn't start running until 11:00 AM, so a cab or bus would be best in the morning. However, I don't know if you can even use the fitness center at Saratoga Springs unless you're a guest of that resort.

I know some WDW hotels allow off-site use of the fitness centre if you pay extra. I'm not 100% sure if this policy is across all WDW hotels.

The other option would be bus to MK and walk to Contemporary.

I do know that we were once offered the use of the Old Key West fitness center while we were staying at French Quarter, but that was at a time when areas of our resort, including the pool, were being refurbished.

If Old Key West is an option, you can technically walk there, though Disney doesn't recommend it.
