POFQ after midnight check in

We are driving all day/evening to get to the World. We hope to arrive at the resort around 1 AM. Any suggestions, is it hopeless to get a good room that late this time of the year. (Should I call ahead to notate such a late arrival?) We have water view reserved with a request of not pool front.

PS...keep your fingers crossed that we can get the kids to sleep when we get there!!

I would definately call to tell them you are going to arrive late. If you want a special room I would also request that before hand. Just because you are coming late does not mean that it is hopeless.

What day are you do to arrive?

Everyone will be checked in by around 1 am. If the room you get isn't satisfactory, you can request a room change for the next day. There may not be anything available when you actually arrive.

We arrive anywhere from 10pm to 3am when we drive down.

We always call ahead, just so they know. That way they don't give our requests away to someone else.
