PO-R vs 2 rooms at a value

Right now my family of 5 (3 boys 15, 13, and 8) is booked into a standard room at Port Orleans Riverside. For only a couple hundred more we can get 2 adjoining rooms at one of the value resorts. As it will be the middle of August when we go, the pool is a bigger factor than it usually would be, so I'm concerned about the amenity downgrade with the move to value.

Any thoughts as to which way to go? We'd greatly appreciate it.

I have a party of 5 as well and we have done it both ways. While PORS is nice the extra bathroom, 2 extra beds and nearly double the square footage is well worth the resort downgrade.

We've gone to POR for the last 3 years.....(5 of us too)

I've considered the same as you, but always stayed with POR and have always been glad we did.

Our kids will be 16, 13 & 6 this year(DD 16 & 2 boys) and again we're spending staying at POR.

I think we all actually enjoy the together time. :animwink:
