PO French Quarter to reopen soon?

On my trip over president's day weekend several CMs told me that the French Quarter will be reopening soon? Hopefully this is true!

Latest Disney Travel Co brochure in the UK does not include FQ though having spoken to them they say a further update will be published at the end of May. No they wouldnt take anybookings or commit to its reopening.

We just booked PORiverside last week and were told that only the Alligator Bayou buildings would be open during the first week of May when we are going.

I heard that French Quarter will be opening in October.

The Rumour I heard right after it closed was that it was being used as a temporary Shades of Green while SOG is being remodeled. I heard a lot of corberating evidence at the time and haven't heard anything recently that makes me believe this isn't true.

this was talked about in another post. I think in the resort section, but search for titles called resort closures. You will see all the info about this. And SoG did not take FQ Disney and them couldn't make an agreement.

Shortly after POFQ shut down, I tested several reservations on WDTC's online booking engine. I seem to recall the earliest date that allowed me to get POFQ was the middle of October. That, of course, could mean nothing or everything. I haven't tried it since. Perhaps mid October is the date afterall. Hope so, our daughter could spend an entire day on the waterslide.

Sometime in October is the date I've heard (I don't remember the exact day). I have also read (on other boards) of at least one person claiming to have been offered (by CRO) French Quarter for June, but I'm fairly certain they are confusing it with Riverside (where the mansions are also supposed to be in the process of reopening soon). Again, I can be certain about none of this.
