Pleasure Island question

I know from other thread here that the fee for Pleasure Island had been suspended, allowing open access.

Is that still in place ? If so, does anyone know how long it will be suspended ?

Yes, it is still in place, however, You don't need a ticket to walk around, or shop, or eat, but you still need a ticket to actually get into the clubs.

Yeah, s25843 right. You dont have to pay to walk around and see what PI is all about. Though if you want to go to any of the clubs you must pay. How I wish I could have a beach bucket right now :(.

All right, then ! Now I'm confused. Is it a per club fee, or all or nothing ? We only want to check out one of them - Adventurer's. How much is that going to cost ?

Well, what kind of tickets are you going to use? Will you be using park hoppers with Plus options, Ultimate Park Hoppers from your hotel, or just regular 4 park hoppers? If you do the Hopper with Plus, or UPHs, you will be able to enter for free, as admission is included with these passes, otherwise, if you use any other pass (Besides those, and the premium annual) it will cost you $20 per person to get in..

Wasn´t this the way it was? I am getting confused now... It used to be open until 7pm (I think) when they made people pay to get back in again.
So do you mean that now you don´t have to pay to stay around but if you want to go inside the clubs you pay $20 for all of them? So that means you don´t need to pay to go in and see the little shows outside and the 'new year's' show on the WES every night?

Yeah you no longer can go underneath the bridge that connects the east and west side. It is all blocked off. So yeah you are able to walk through PI with out paying. You can watch the live bands on the stage for free. But if you wanna go in the clubs you have to pay.

Last time I heard, they discontinued the live bands on the main stage, and now just use the Video boards throughout PI for entertainment.

I really wish they would make PI admission only for everything again, there seemed to be less people, and the entertainment was much much better..

I don't think they raised prices, just changed the access around. I am a PAP holder, so I never pay to get in either, but according to Deb's site, its currently $21 and change to get in..

I just double-checked a previous thread here. It states that the $ 16 price is in place until Dec 30. Of course it would change for New Year's Eve. Who knows, maybe it will be re-instated after the holiday. At any rate, it appears it is in place through Christmas.

At the bottom of the page it lists similar threads. There was one on Aug 18th by orlpassholder that says the $ 16 price is through Dec 30th. There is also a thread by Turkey about the lower price.

Ok, I thought I missed something on Deb's site, which only gives the price, not the end date. Thanks for clearing that up. :)
