I'm thinking of taking my BF to Pleasure Island when we go down in January... he's never been and I suspect that he might want to drink while we are on vacation, and what better a place! I have a few questions:

Does the WDW Bus Transportation pick up from PI after it closes? I assume that it closes at or around 2am, but will the busses pick you up that late? Are the busses pretty regular before then, like let's say around midnight?

How much are drinks? I heard once about a Monkey Head mug that was a good deal... do they still do that and what are the prices? And, what exactly is the Monkey Head mug? LOL

What kind of AP discount can I get for my BF for his admission with my AP?

If memory serves me correctly the busses run until about 3:00 AM. The last time I used and AP discount it was 20% for me and $3 or $4 for a guest without an AP , that was a couple of years ago so things might have changed but according to the cast member I spoke with making my latest reservations the 20% AP discount still existed for all water parks,DQ and PI. Guess I find out for sure on Dec. 4<SUP>th</SUP> when I buy DQ and PI tickets.

1) The busses run until about 2:15
2) At night the PI busses run around 20-30 mins apart
3)If I recall correctly, I think I paid about $5 for a mixed drink
4)I have a PAP, so I don't pay for admission into PI, but as outlined in your passholder sleeve, you will get $4 off of adult admission, or if you go on a friday PAP holders and PI AP holders bring a friend free.

Only at the Adventurer's Club can you get some of their specialty drinks served in the all-too-cool Monkeynut, a coconut carved in the shape of a monkeyface and body. I tell you, you haven't lived til you have had some of Nash's famous specialty drinks sucked through a straw stuck in a monkeynut.

VERY IMPORTANT: The last bus is usually right at 2 am. Might get one until 2:15, after that it's a taxi back to the room.

Buses run about 20-30 minutes apart, but depending on where you are staying, you might have a 30 minute bus ride as well.

Mixed drinks at the Adventurer's Club are now $7.50, if you want a Monkey Nut, it is an additional $6.00. I just went there a couple of weeks ago with my wife and two Kungalooshes, one in a Monkey Nut, came to $21.00 total. But the Monkey Nut is really neat and can have whatever drink you want in it. It is actually a large cupholder, really. The drink itself goes in a seperate cup, which is then placed inside the Monkey Nut.
