Hey everyone,
I just got back from a great weekend at the new Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. It is a wonderful resort that you should check out on your next trip. As promised, it offers a great panaroamic view of Downtown Disney. Speaking of Downtown Disney, everyone knows that Pleasure Island does midnight fireworks, and that they're usually just a few shells and not much else. On Friday night we watched them and as usual, it was all over in about 30 seconds. Can anyone tell me why last night's show (June 19th, midnight) was a 5 minute no holding back, give it everything you got bomb fest?? It was an incredible barrage of shell after shell, ground stuff behind P.I, and it only got louder and bigger as it went on. Think of it as the grand finale of Illuminations and Wishes lasting about 5 minutes, only louder and mostly bigger. I was totally shocked to see this, and was wondering if anyone knows why it was like that. Do they just go all out on Saturdays or something? Did anyone happen to see it? If you did, you know what I'm talking about. Any inside info would be appreciated. Thanks!
