I am going to the World in early Jan. 2014. Previously stayed @ AKL, and trying to save some expenses this trip. I am still planning to eat some of my meals @ AKL and hang out @ Victoria Falls. Consider, size, bus service , restaurants, entertainment, conventions/crowds, etc, the whole nine yards and vote for one and tell me why or why not if you don't like something. Vote Now:

POFQ VS CSR

I have not stayed at CSR, but I would always choose POFQ. I know I have tooted this resort at every chance I get, but honestly it is the only resort that I have stayed at more than once, 4 times to be exact, so it is sort of my home resort. We just got back from here a week ago and it was my hubby and kids first time here and they loved it. I see that you are talking about going in Jan., so maybe it does not matter, but the kids and all of us loved the pool and spent more time here than I ever expected, just about every evening. The food at the resort was just OK for dinner, but we only ate here once on the day we checked in, so no big deal for us. I will say that we drove to the parks while we were here and I have had bus problems in the past, but maybe in Jan., it is not an issue since I would imagine crowds are lighter at this time?

Never stayed at CSR for several reasons ..But have stayed at POFQ..Lovely resort..Small and tranquil with the added bonus of a sail to downtown via the Sassagoula river..And don't forget the Beignets..:hungry:

Since POR isn't an option, I would have to vote CSR. I love the rooms there, it has a great pool, and it has a lot of amenities that the other mod resorts lack like a fitness center and spa.

POFQ--nice and compact. CSR is to huge for me, and since I don't do a DP, the extra tax at the food court if I don't take it to go, irks me.
