Disney Travel on Demand is apparently not in enough demand with AT&T U-verse customers yet.

In May 2007, Disney announced the launching of a new video on demand channel, Disney Travel. It was initially launched on Cablevision and Time-Warner. In March, 2008, Comcast started carrying Disney Travel. AT&T U-Verse TV is not yet a provider of Disney Travel on Demand.

The Disney Travel on Demand channel includes reality, special-event content and concerts, all focusing on Disney parks worldwide including Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California as well as Disney Cruise Lines. Unique to this channel is its interactivity, which lets viewers contact Disney vacation planners via their TV remote controls. As they watch, viewers can click their remote control to request an immediate telephone call from a Disney travel planner during extended business hours. Disney said 23 percent of viewers who used the "Talk to Agent" feature ended up buying Disney vacations. Trips can be planned for Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disney Cruise Lines.

Disney Travel on Demand started with four programs: "Making the Magic," "Disney Fact or Fiction," "Dream Makers" and "Disney Travel Insiders." Disney Travel on Demand added four new shows in the coming season, including "Disney's What's Cooking with Cat Cora," and programming featuring Disney Channel stars from "Hannah Montana", "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and "High School Musical."

The shows offered on the Disney Travel channel are free, including interactive features, like the ability to request more information.
