Please help about x-mas parades and party.

Hmmm im lost! There are two different types of x-mas parades? And there is also a Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party? I have annual passes, can I get into that? Also...when are they filming the parade for TV?

Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party is a hard ticket event requiring seperat admission from "normal" day tickets or park hopper tickets. It should say on your AP info that it does not include special hard ticket events. So, no, your AP will not get you into MVMCP. The parade at MVMCP is apparently the same parade shown on TV on Christmas Day. This parade will start to run during the day on the 18th, the day after the last MVMCP. Not sure what day WDW is planning on taping the parade, but some scenes are taped on different days. Usually, they will tape the parade on multiple days and use the one with the best weather. If you can make it to MVMCP, definately go, it is fantastic. If you plan to go, buy tickets ahead of time to same money and to get a ticket, it usually sells out (Dec 17th already has). There is no discount for AP or residents either.

There are actually three different parades.

First, there's the Magic Kingdom Christmas parade which is shown during MVMCP and then in the daytime during the two weeks of Christmas and New Years. They add a lot of extra units to this parade for the filming. This year, most of what they will be showing will be clips from last year's parade with a few new things filmed on Friday the 3rd and Saturday the 4th.

Second, there's the Holiday Disney Stars and Motor Cars at MGM. This is the second year for this parade. It did well enough last year so they brought it back.

Third, there's Mickey's Jingle Jungle parade at Disney's Animal Kingdom which will be opening on November 30. Based on the success of the enhancement to the parade at the Studios, it was decided to enhance this parade as well. I must say, this one is going to be absolutely adorable. :xmas:
