Playhouse Disney Characters?

My 2 year old DD is mesmerized by Playhouse Disney every morning. Do many/any of the characters (Jo-Jo, Doodle-Bops, Higley Town, Olie, etc) appear regualarly at WDW?

I know some do, especially at MGM. Get a time guide from the parks and it'll tell you which characters you can meet, what time they'll be out, and the location.


Also take your 2 yr old to see Playhouse Disney, Live on Stage at MGM. Cute show!!

JoJo and Goliath can be seen on Mickey Ave. Olie and Zowie, JoJo and Goliath, Peanut and Jelly Otter, Stanley, Treelo and Bear are in the Studios Parade. The Playhouse Disney show in the Animation Courtyard features segments from the shows: Bear in the Big Blue House, JoJo's Circus, Stanley, and Book of Pooh.

Ollie and Zowie are sometimes out on set at special events. I know they were at MNSSHP in 2003. That's the last time I have seen them for m&g's.

I know they are not on "playhouse disney" but a couple characters from Baby Einstein were out a couple of months ago. They were out for testing and haven't been seen since.

i know JoJo and Goliath come out in mgm in one of the trailors near the backlot tour



and there's playhouse disney live on stage, i'd expect they would come out around there from time to time, but i can't be sure of that

The Playhouse attraction is great for disney kids. It has Bear and the big blue house( and all of his friends) as well as JoJo circus and Rollie Pollie Olie, and the great big book of everything and more. It was very entertaining for my 2 year old and now we have to see it everytime.

In addition to Jojo and Goliath at the Studios, Stanley makes appearances for meet-and-greets at Rafiki's Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom.

And, yes, Olie and Zowie only come out for special events and the MGM parade.

This is slightly off topic but is Playhouse Disney only for kids? We never went on our last trip even though we usually do every attraction at least once. I think I'd like to see it next trip, but I don't really want to be the only adult there without kids; although, I might make an exception if it was worth seeing.

No you dont need to have kids to go to see the show. I'm 24 and just love Bear in the big Blue House! I went to see the show and was singing along with the rest of the Kiddie winks!!:sohappy:

I even bought a Bear in the Big Blue House T Shirt after the show and wore it all day around MGM! Donald Duck was very impressed!:lol:

playhouse disney live on stage is definetely a must see for your 2 year old!!! its a very entertaining show for those playhouse disney lovers! but i didn't see any playhouse characters outside the show on my last trip.

I'm not familiar with these characters because my kids are all full grown and I don't have the Disney channel ,but I think I saw one of these guys at Raffiki's Planet watch at Animal Kingdom on my last trip.
