Platinum or Diamond Edition

Somehow we have Platinum AND Diamond for Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King. The Diamond editions have the Blu-Ray included. Is there anything on the Platinum Edition we would be missing if those copies went away?

I don't think we need two copied of each and just trying to figure out what to keep

I believe the Diamond (Bluray releases) contain all previously-available content from the Platinum DVD releases.

I love this site- http://www.dvdizzy.com/index.html. It does a great job analyzing what's in and what's out of different editions of dvd's. It used to be exclusively Disney releases back when Disney was releasing tons of them. Still a great resource.

They don't. Bonus features get dropped between releases, so it's a matter of whether or not that content is important enough for you to keep the previous edition. Use the dvdizzy.com reviews, as @216bruce suggests, to know what has been carried over to newer releases.
