ok I am planning a trip in 2010. Gettimg married on April 17 2010:sohappy: and we are going to WDW for the honeymoon :D. We have to go in the summer cause my girlfriend, soon to be wife, is a school teacher and I work full time and go to school at night full time. The only time we have off is in the middle of summer. I am thinking in july. I know it hot and humid. Now i have been to WDW in September and it was HOT and very humid but what I want to know is, Is it worse i july? Not that it really matters just want to know what it is like. Also I want to stay at the poly, as far as rooms does it really matter. I mean like the garden view or lagoon view. well to all that reply, thank you and any and all advice will be helpful.

To be honest, after 10 years living down here, I can't really say there is much of a difference between Sept and July temperatures, except that Sept can possibly be a bit cooler; still, its hot and humid either way! The only thing would be that the crowds will be worse in July than in Sept.

No
Ever-so-slightly hotter and more humid... But not noticably so.

At Poly you want an MK view if you can... Watching Wishes from your room is a hair below Nirvana... If not, you can watch from a hammock on the Poly beach. :king:

Congrats!

Ive never been during the summer so i cant speak for the weather.

but i have stayed at the poly many times and can say its a much bigger hotel then some think. when you call to book ask where each of the rooms is located in perspective to the mail hall where the food, shops and monrail are. one year we were at the outskirts and it was closer to go to the TTC (alot closer) for a monorail and buses then it was to head to the middle of the hotel.

Also I HIGHLY reccomend you make some reservations for OHANA. It is one of the restaraunts there. go for either the character breakfast or family style dinner! its awsome food!

There is a luau there but I never thought the food or show were that great but if you havent seen it before may be worth a shot!

Have a great time! My gf and I have been dating 5 yrs and when i do pop the question it may be in WDW but the honeymoon def will be! make sue you leave us a trip report when you get back
