Planning to run in the 2010 marathon - when can I book?

Hi everyone - I am planning to run in the 2010 marathon at WDW but currently I can only book vacations through December 31st, 2009. Any idea when the site allows you to book for 2010? Can I book for 2010 over the phone?

Book the marathon now. You'll be able to book rooms later. The half will fill up fast, the Goofy will follow, and the full will fill last, probably sometime late in the summer.

I'm going to run it with Team in Training, so I'm guaranteed a spot in the marathon. I'm more concerned about the room.

I'll be traveling with my family (myself and my wife, our three kids ages 3,3, and 4, my parents and my sister). I want to book a 2-room Kidani Villa with the savannah view and I am pretty sure those book up fast since there aren't very many of them.

any ideas when those would be ready to book?

You should be able to make a room only reservation 499 days in advance, although your price may not be locked in until probably August of 2009 for a 2010 reservation - and August is when you usually can book packages for the next year also.

Room only bookings begin 499 days in advance with non-guaranteed rates. Packages for 2010 will probably become available in August as is usually the case. The villas at AKL will be very hard to get though because of the members that get priority staying there. Since they are going to be brand new, I could see them being near impossible to get.
