Planning Question

Ok, this is probably a stupid quetion, but in all of our planning for our trip next week, I had not thought about this....

We are going tro be arriving Friday evening and staying at the Pop Century.

Saturday morning, I have ps arrangements at Chef Mickey's for 8:00 breakfast.

How do I get from the motel at that time in the morning to the contemporary?

Do the buses run early enough? Do they go from the motel to the other resorts?

This is our third stay onsite, but I have never run into this...

Thanks!

Buses will be running. You would need to be ready and at the bus stop at 7 in order to give you plenty of time to get to the breakfast.

The taxi will cost you, but leaving at 7:30 will give you plenty of time to get there.

Most of the time, there will be taxis sitting out front of the All-Stars, probally the same with the other resorts.

If not, someone at Luggage Assistance (not at Guest Services) can call you a taxi.

Always Helpful...

Thanks guys!

I always get good answers here!

This is a great board.

Never eaten at Chef Mickey's.... never been disappointed with any eateries though.... should be fun.

You can also call your resort direct and ask them. When we had Backstage Tours to take that started before the parks opened, we were not sure how to get there without a car. We asked the bellhops and they told us to sneak on the Character Breakfast busses that come early. So, they'll be able to figure out any issue you may have, so call them for sure before you leave!

I used to walk over to the Contemporary from MK, but some years ago a Disney Security guard refused to let me past his checkpoint, as I was not a resort guest. I had to go back to MK and take the monorail.

Anyone know if this is policy, or whether I just happened across a guard who was having a bad day?

I know this wont ever happen.. but disney should come up with some sort of free hotel to hotel shuttle service for instances like this.. they could even have it so you have to show a room key to use it.. and it oculd jsut be a simple van with a disney logo on it.. the driver could make a route and do several hotels on the way if needed..

you pay to stay in the parks and transportation is free as part of that.. so as part of being a guest you get the ps stuff.. so as a nice gesture they should help you get there for free.. just an idea..

I'm sure if you proposed that you get something like "yeah, we already have it... it's call a 'bus'"
