hello all, it's been a few years since i have been to Disney, 4 i think. i have a couple questions my daughter wants to go at or around Halloween (she loves all things Halloween lol ) but i have read that's hurricane season should i seriously rethink the timing? is there a better week in October than another ? how are the crowds that time of year ? i have always gone in march or April. anyone know of any good discounts or deals coming soon? also aside of the not so scary Halloween party anything else cool for Halloween?

crowds are not bad, although getting worse every year. the party as well as food and wine festival have been becoming very popular. but we go this time of the year often, it is very manageable- as WDW goes.
the weather is lovely then. usually daytime in the 80s evenings in the 50s. that said, i have been there with daytime 105 (literally) and nights in the 20s. it is very unpredictable.
but this is our favorite time of the year to go.
there is a rumor that free dining for fall is coming soon, but several weeks in october are often blocked out because of the popularity of these 2 events. i suggest booking now and seeing if a discount comes out and jump on it.
personally, i am hoping for a room only discount for then, but am not too optimistic
