Planning around school

Im trying to help my parents plan our next vacation so I dont miss too much school. Im thinking the last two weeks of Sept will be great because school is just starting so I wont miss much, but my father thinks the weather will still be hot and humid. Does anyone know what the weather is like in Sept? We like to go when its not too hot. Also im guessing the crowds will be pretty low being that school is in session, am I right?

If all goes as im planning only 79 days! hehe :D

The weather is still hot & humid in September and on into October. When we took our kids out of school it was usually in February around President's Day...a nice time to get away from the North and the snow. :lol:

Oh I see, well looks like ill just have to put up with the weather then because that week seems to be the best and I dont think I can wait until Oct. or Nov.!! Haha

The last three trips we took were the last week of September and this year we will be going the first week of OCtober and yes it is always hot . But we like it and we do take our kids out of school. We never pack jeans or a jacket . If you leave on a Saturday to Saturday you will only miss 5 days and since it is the begining of school for us they never have any problem with school work.

Tell your parents that while it's hot, the fact that the crowds will be minimal to non existent will more than make up for that. Between 9 and noon, you can get the same amount of rides you could get through all day during the busy seasons. Then you can go back to the hotel, to air conditioning and the pool, then return during the dinner hours where it's much cooler. Have fun!!
