Hey guys,

I'm planning on going up to Orlando for a weekend, May 15-16th. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what rides will be closed around that time?

Also, I'm only 18 yrs old, are there any hotels up there, on grounds or not, that allow an 18 yr old to stay alone w/o an "adult"?

And last but not least, what are tickets selling for now, and any place to get them at a cheaper price? As well as a hotel room?

Thanks in advance.

The Marriott Village in LBV will let an 18 y/o check-in, as long as you have a valid credit card. The have decent rates also. I have stayed there a few times.

I'm pretty sure I checked into the All-Stars when I was 18, which was in 1998. I would say just call them and ask. I'm also guessing that all the hotels on property would have the same policy.

That is correct.

Most hotels required a valid credit card for all gsts, but especially those under 21.

Also, many hotels will require a large room deposit for guests under 21.

A big wlcome to the boards:wave: I would strongly recommend buying your tickets through your local AAA, we do it every year and save a lot of money. As for the check in, my advice would be to call the Disney information line. Theyre very curtious and can answer your questions and any other ones you might have:)

Tickets can be purchased in advance from your local neighborhood Disney Store or if you are a AAA member, you can get them through there. These prices will be discounted. DO NOT BUY from Disney at the park entrance. Ticket prices are higher as a walk-up. You could also try out this place:

They sell advance tickets at discount.:slurp:

I am a partner with Maple Leaf and sell their discounted tickets on my website to many of the forum members.

I am under 21 and I have booked at both the Contemporary and Polynesian at WDW in the past year without any hassle from Disney - I used my credit card both times, everything went smoothly, they never seemed unhappy or wary of the fact that I wasn't older or anything like that.

Hope you have a great trip!
