The Mousesavers website has a list of "historical discounts." It can help you make educated guesses based on what's been offered in prior years for your dates.

Mousesavers like they've said is a good site to find discounts. Also, Costco/Sams/AAA has discounts on trip purchases. The Disney Card from Chase also gives you discounts on trips. Have a fun trip!

Usually NO discounts in the month of October (peak season). We have planned many a trip in October and always ended up changing it due to the price and crowds. Would love to go sometime though!
This year we are going in early September and plan on doing the MNSSHP. Got a good deal and crowds will be smaller (hopefully) but more than likely hotter.
