Pixie Hollow Games - New Disney Channel Animated Special

So, can it now be officially stated that the Disney Fairies is a dog? They've gone from Direct-To-DVD movies to now shortened Made-For-TV specials.
It's a shame, too. I'm sure the original hope was for them to gain in popularity with each release to the point that they would eventually go to theaters first.
For the Fairy fans out there, what happened to the movies being centered around the seasons?
I don't know if I'm alone, but I never really cared for the treatment of Tink in these new movies. The movies are cute enough, but I don't think they really embraced the spirit of Tinkerbell or the things that made her popular in the first place. They really made her bland. The other Fairies are pretty boring too, IMO.
It's too bad, because these could've been really fun.
