Any ideas about how this is gonna work? These guys are under the same roof now but how do you decide which films are released as Disney and which are released as Disney Pixar without one eventually overshadowing the other?

It's all Disney...eventually the Pixar name will be out of the picture. That said, it should be interesting to see how both studios adjust to the changes.

I wouldn't be so sure. PIXAR has build a strong brand name, it would make sense to use that to their advantage. For the time it would be wise to continue using the brand, it could be phased out, or kept as a subsidiary, similar to the Touchstone or Dimension films label.

Here is how this is going to work....Pixar will remain Pixar and all of its animation will continue to be done out of Emeryville and WDFA will continue to reside at it's current residence in Glendale/Burbank. The "Pixar" films will continue to hold the Disney Pixar tag as they have in the past. Disney films will be Disney. One of the points to the deal was that the animation facilities would not be combined and that all of the Pixar stuff would be done at Pixar. The Pixar name is not going to dissapear and will be hanging around for about probably forever...that was part of the deal, plus, the the Pixar studios will still have the Pixar name on the building and will not be referenced to Disney in any other way...other than cartoons that they produce.
