I am a huge Pixar film fan. Ever since Toy Story I have loved their films. To me, they put out the BEST CGI films. All other CGI films, with the exception of Monster House, I have hated. In fact, I just can't sit through them. I prefer 2D animation, but Pixar, they are the exception for CGI work.

I love all their films and see them in the theatre and then buy them on DVD later. I even bought the DVD of their shorts, and I buy all the books about their films.

At the moment, The Incredibles are on right now. Me being a huge comic book geek, I am enjoying this.

Any other Pixar fans out there? If so, spread the love and let's chat about it.

I love Pixar, they are what Disney is supposed to be.

Their movies are generally top notch with really high end CGI and the animation is top notch as well.

Of their films, I really enjoyed Toy Story 2 and Monsters, especially Monsters. I'm really, really excited to see how Wall-E is going to be handled and I'm praying for pantomime, but it'll probably have the robots talking.

I do enjoy other 3D animation though, Dreamworks has had much more success recently and it's actually been interesting watching their 3D animation department (PDI) evolve over the past couple years. They were real iffy with that movie about the Bee's...I don't even remember what it was called....but the last couple have looked really well, including Shrek 3 (which had very nice visuals...don't care for the story though or the characters though) and Flushed Away was amazing stop motion looking. It really kept the feel of Aardmans stuff and I liked that a lot.

Your first sentence nailed it perfectly.

Pixar has made some of my favorite movies in the world, including Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo. The upcoming Wall*E looks like it's going to be included in that list very soon, too. I actually think it will raise the bar for Pixar (if that's even possible) just because in addition to the amazing animation, the subject matter is really meaningful. Go Pixar!

i saw the incredibles last night, and that has to be one of my favourite pixar films alongside toy story 1 and 2. I saw cars and finding nemo recently as well. but i didn't really enjoy cars. Finding nemo was good though.

Pixar is SWEET. I think the Incredibles is one of my favorite movies. So many possibilities to move the franchise forward.

As far as other animation houses go, I am also a fan of "Big Idea" who does the Veggie Tales. Great stories presented in a really cool way. Larry Boy!!

I too love Pixar although I'm generally critical of them. I just don't want TWDC to become Pixar. I want Pixar to be Pixar. Does that make sense??? Any way, I too am a comic book geek and also love the Incredibles. Have you ever played the Video Game? It's awesome!

I actually didn't like the game. i remember getting beaten up by a giant ball and screaming at the game. Thank god it was a rental. (although i had to buy a second hand copy as i ended up breaking the rental game anyway). Now toy story 1 on the mega drive and toy story 2 on the playstation were great games.
