So, now that the event has actually happened, and PotC mania seems to be sweeping the boards (and the country) again, did anyone go to this event? I haven't heard anything about it as far as topics go. It looked pretty cool and I definitely would have done it, but I wasn't going to plan a special trip around it. Looked like they had some really cool merchandise (not just for the event, but stuff that would be in parks around the same time). Anyone see any of the swag? I might try to get the skeleton big fig, if a friend can find it in Art of Disney.

I bought tickets, but got swamped at work and couldn't go.

Someone please do tell how the event and meeting Gibbs went!

I walked past them as they were getting ready to go in my theatre for the midnight viewing. They may get some free stuff, but I got to see the movie before them!

Each of those people paid a pretty penny for their tickets...so not free...exclusive maybe...but certainly not free.

They received lots of nice gifts. I know the people in the top two tiers received a figurine of the Barker Bird and a Stitch pirate pin, and I believe everyone received a messenger bag among other things. You can see some of the gifts at www.dizpins.com
