My friend's son really wants to be have the pirate makeup at the pirate's league in the MK. He is only 2 1/2. She told them that he is 3 so he can get this done. When she made the appointment the cast member told her that she would have to show his ticket when they show up for an appointment. SInce he is under 3 he dosen't need a ticket. She is worried that this will be a problem. Has anyone had to show their admission ticket for their appointment?

They may turn him away. I know people who have had problems with BBB. Their DD is 2 when they check in but turned three during the trip. They had to prove she was now 3 since they had no ticket.

I have heard that they do ask for this to show that he is of age. It may have to do with an insurance issue, or something like that. I did not have to show proof for my son because he was 7 years old when he did it. All you can do is try. They may not ask to see it, but I have heard that they do.

I don't recall showing anything for my son who was 3.5 (and short for his age) when he did it, but he did have a ticket so it's possible we showed it and I don't recall.

I was told by a CM that it is a liability issue as the makeup has not be proven to be "safe" for someone under 3.
