Why is it being filmed at Universal Studios?

Its being filmed at both Universal and Disney. I would guess they are using the Universal stages for the big water scenes, since Universal has a lot of good size water tanks.

So what kind of studios does disney have? Like actual giant warehouses where sets can be put? I was under the thought that the disney studios is not a real working studio but use to be. Im surprised that ive never thought of asking this before...:wave:

The Disney Studios that they are using I would guess are in California, along with the MGM studios.

These aren't the "studios" at Disney-MGM Studios theme park. These are the actual production studios in Burbank, CA.

Both Disney-MGM Studios and Universal Studios Orlando theme parks do have functional production facilities that are occasionally used. Typically used for taping pilots of gameshows for the "family" audience. Also used for casting calls for things. Universal and MGM both also maintain a large rental-property library. The items with tags in the queue for Earthquake and the Backlot Tram Tour are technically rentable (i find that distinct similiarity between the two rides to be quite funny)
