Hi - my daughter will be 3-1/2 when we are at Disney. I was thinking of this Voyage as a special surprise for the family on the last night. Is it appropriate for a 3-1/2 year old (she loves Pirates of the Carribean and Jake and the Neverland Pirates). Is it worth the money? Any additional thoughts or suggestions.

Well, Jake and the Neverland Pirates are not on the cruise, as I recall. It's Smee and Captain Hook and at the end you get to meet Peter Pan.

I think it's an excellent idea. For the value, it's a great experience.

Have you looked into a special trip to Pirates League beforehand to get in the spirit of the voyage?

Yes, I think it is a great idea! It is a lot of fun for all ages. You'll meet at the Contemporary for snacks and pictures with Hook and Smee, and then "Patch the Pirate" takes you away on your cruise. He tells stories stories and jokes, and sings songs. The huge bonus is that you'll have a great view of Wishes, with the music piped in, and without having to wait in the crowd!
I agree with @englanddg - Pirates League would be an awesome combo to go with it!

We have done this cruise a few different times and we always enjoyed it. Our kids were about the same age as your child the first time we went. Have a fun time!

Here are a few pictures from before and after.

We did this on the last night of our trip last summer (my son was 7 at the time), and we all had a blast! He wore a Peter Pan costume and got some great interactions w/ all the characters. It was definitely worth the money! We are planning to do it again this year.

Thank you so much. Maybe I'll dress my little one up like tinkerbell. Could be cute. I am looking into Pirate League. I never heard of it before.
Tink would work well, given the theme!

Another idea she may enjoy (that is far cheaper), if she's going to be Tink, is a makeover at the Harmony Barbershop on Main Street USA. They'll do up her hair and sprinkle her with glitter.

You could also look into Bippity Boppity Boutique, but I'm not sure if Tink is an option there...and it's not cheap. Fun to do (my daughter has done it one year only, when she was 5), but it is a tad pricey. The good thing I can say is that they do quality work and the costumes they provide last quite well.
