We're doing this for the first time in August - my birthday falls on the last night of our trip, so it's going to be our 'grand finale', and it's also going to be a total surprise for my son. I think he's going to LOVE it!

To anyone who has gone on the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise.....is it worth it?? Want to try something we haven't done before. Thanks :)

We have done this twice and we have it planned a third time for this summer, this time with the entire family. We love it. Great way to see the fireworks!!

Just curious what kind of snacks/drinks did they have?
simple stuff. brownies, cookies, pretzels, soda, water, peanuts, some fruit, coffee. it starts with a meet and greet with hook annd mr snee (sp) and there is a special guest when you return. your "pirate" aboard your ship will make the trip worth it. there is no down time. you get to see the water parade close up before the fireworks as well. all kinds of stories, and quizzes, and singing while you are on bay lake. like i mentioned earlier, its a lot of fun. it will be our third time doing it this august!!

This is probably the one Disney thing we've done that we were disappointed in. And I think for me it was because it was sooo expensive for what it is. If you've done everything else and money isn't an issue, then yes it's a a cute experience. My 4 year old was too tired by the end of the evening to care and my 10 year old thought it was very corny. So with the kids not having fun, our fun meter was down also. Even the fire works weren't what I had hoped as I was on the opposite side of the boat with a sleeping 4 year old in my lap, so unable to move for a better view. If you have kids, just be prepared - it could be great or a bust. As much as they charge I would prefer a nice meal or a dinner show - there are better places to see the fireworks.

What a bummer--I am rethinking this now!! I understand you don't get to have snacks while in board just eat then before hand??!!?? How was the water parade though??
