Pirates 3 plot

Jim Hill has some detailed information on the plot of the new "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie due out this summer.

Arrgh! Be wary of spoilers...
CLICKY!

I looked over the plot, and I gotta say it looks more confusing and ridiculous than the second film (which is hands down my worst theatrical experience of the last five years). Although I loved the first pirates movie, the second was a catastrophe. Never have I been so bored in a theater, wondering why I should care about the inane subplots or incomprehensible story.

I don't know if I'm gonna even see this flick in the theaters. But, since the movie will be a HUGE success regardless, it's not like that really matters...;)

How detailed is the information?? This may sound dumb, but I don't want to spoil the movie. I've done that with a few others and after I wish I hadn't...I don't want to do that with this one.

For someone who really wants to see the movie, I want to click the link but I'm not sure...

Its not that detailed. Its not like its a scene-for-scene discription. Its just a plot outline. Nothing more.

I was a little leery about clicking the link earlier when I saw it in the Sentinel, but it sounds pretty interesting to me.

Just read it...it sounds amazing!!! Doesn't sound confusing at all. I can't wait for this to come out. There's no doubt that it'll be a great success! :D

In Al Lutz's new article, he mentions the possibility of 3 more Pirate films (which I'll gladly accept). While reading through this article, I was wondering: It sounds as if they are putting everything into this movie (stunts, plot...). Will there be anything left for them to do in the next *possible* 3 movies? I would hate for them to go all out on this one, and have the next ones be boring with nothing new and exciting in them...I don't know...

I'd love more movies too! :D

I'm sure they'll find stuff to put into the next movie. Though I haven't read the spoliers, I bet that the writers, Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, left an opening for more films in the end of the third film.

I heard the rumor of one of the stories was going to be focused on Calypso, goddess of the sea, or something like that. That was one of the rumors of what was going to happen in the third film, so maybe they'll do something like that in the next movie. Just a thought.... :)

IMO, more movies would be over kill. I love pirates, and can't wait for the third one, but I think three movies is enough for this trilogy.
