I was looking at the "boys getting left out thread" and seen something on the pirate adveture. So I started looking into it. Turns out there is not much info out there on this.

 My questions are....
Is this still being done?
I noticed it is offered at several of the WDW resorts so which one is the best?
Does it fill up fast?
Is it crowded?
I know my friend's son will like it but will my 8 year old little girl like it?
Does anyone have any pics?

Any info would be really appriciated.

We did this in Dec 08 at the grand floridian. My kids loved it, girl 8 and boy 6. It was a good value for the money, I think 30 bucks, they got a mickey ears skull cap, candy and trickets. They went on a boat that had 3 crew members and about 20 kids. If you message me your email I can send some pics, have no clue how to put them on here.

We haven't done this (although each time we go I consider it). When we went in December it was being offered at the Yacht/Beach Club, on M, W & maybe Friday mornings from 9ish to 11:30?. My times may be off, but it was definitely the morning.

It sounds like it's a treasure hunt with lunch (Uncrustables). If my daughter were older I'd have no doubt that she'd like it. At almost 3 she'd probably do it too.:) So I don't think that it is specifically for boys.

I've read that it's also been available at the GF, but I don't know if it still is. I'd try calling the specific hotel that you're interested in, they should have a schedule (but I don't know how far out they schedule the "recreation" activities.)

If you do it, please post your comments. We'll be going again in December, maybe we'll sign my son up this time.

My DD has done the cruise at the GF, YC/BC and the haunted cruiise from the Poly.

She liked all of them, but had a wonderful experience with the CM's at the YC/BC version. The haunted Pirate Cruise which leaves from the Poly during the Halloween season was here favorite. They departed the Poly about 8:30 PM and were able watch Halloween Wishes from the boat. I know my little girl loved it. Cost is $35.00 No adults allowed

Another great experience my DD loved was the Bush Camp at AKL. The kids have a camp set up in the resort and they have lunch in the camp and learn all kind of things about the resort and the animals. The CM's were wonderful and take care of the children very well. Cost $35.00 No adults Allowed

The family magic tour in the MK is great for the kids and the adults can go along on this. It is basically a scavanger hunt through the MK and we ended up riding on IASW with Peter Pan. My DD rode sitting next to Peter Pan in the front seat by herself. I have some very memorable video of that. $25.00 per person for the entire family.

I may be off on some of the prices.

Where do you find info on this? My son (and I) would love this!

Thanks for all the info. I think we are going to let the kids do the one at CBR since that is where we are staying. Then we can get laundry done while they are doing the cruise.
