"Pinocchio" in the Twisted Tales series

I've never actually read the Twisted Tales series of books, but I've heard that it was basically a series of "what if" takes on various Disney films. At this moment, there are ten books in all, with another coming out in April. The Disney Wiki site explains everything: https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/A_Twisted_Tale_(Book_Series).

One thing I was thinking of for this series was a book for "Pinoccchio", tentatively titled "Wish Upon a Star", and the "what if" scenario could be "What if Pinocchio never proved himself brave, truthful or unselfish?" In a way, Pinocchio here would revert to the original brash wise guy in the Coloddi story. But that's pretty much all I've got. Another "what if" scenario could be, "What if Pinocchio never had a conscience?" In that case, the title could be "Between Right and Wrong" (as in the Blue Fairy's line, "You must learn to choose between right and wrong," as well as her calling Jiminy, "Lord High Keeper of the knowledge of right and wrong.").

What do you think?

Interesting ideas there! Perhaps add a few more book elements, like Catchfools? For some reason, I wanted to see a Twisted Tale for Lilo and Stitch, or even the Incredibles.

I have a "what if" scenario but I don't know if it will work out. But anyways, let me tell you about it. What if Pinocchio were brought to life by the usage of black magic and never became a real boy? Another "what if" scenario could be, What if Geppetto were the one to bring Pinocchio to life and suffered the consequences?

I like the "black magic" idea, actually. It would certainly help with Pinocchio not having a conscience.
