Haven't been on the imagineering section. But i have an idea expanding on an abandoned ride concept.

A Pinocchio e-ticket in the Magic Kingdom replacing Small World (Small World is moved to World Showcase). For better reference of what I say watch the movie from 65:00 http://www.watchanimemovie.com/sub-dub/pinocchio.html

Queue - The queue goes through the italian Pinocchio village. Here, it is explained that Pinocchio is looking for his father, Geppetto, who is nowhere to be seen.

Loading Dock - You load onto your raft, which is beautifully hand-carved taking cues from Geppetto's workshop. As opposed to most raft ride vehicles, it won't be arena seating and instead will be theater seating. Similar to The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman (Islands of Adventure) it will have two rows with four people (the second row would be elevated). It will also have omnimover capabilities to turn whenever necessary.

First Scene - The first scene has no trace of it being a water ride. The ride will have animatronics similar to the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. You go past the movie scene where Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket are reading the letter. Pinocchio says "Swallowed by a whale?!", Cricket replies "But he's alive! Inside Monstro the Whale at the bottom of the sea!". The vehicle turns away. Using surround sound, you hear Pinocchio behind you running, "I gotta find him". You then drop down 35 feet "into the water" with an emphasis on being soaked.

Second Scene - Using effects to create an underwater feeling you see Pinocchio underwater swimming (the classic picture) and Jiminy has that fish following him. You turn past underwater plants, you hear Pinocchio calling out "Father?", soon after all the clams eyes pop right back up. Pinocchio is walking with a school of fish following him. Jiminy is stuck in a bubble reaching for his hat.

Third Scene - You turn the corner. A bunch of fish fly past you, air breezing in your face. Monstro is coming right at you (technically the raft is coming to him), you hear pinocchio screaming. Once you enter his mouth more water drenches you, and once inside the darkness of his mouth you uncontrollably spin.

Fourth Scene - Inside Monstro's mouth you see a rocking boat. Geppetto is hugging his boy Pinocchio and Figaro perched on top excited. You turn away from the action, the raft is rocking. You hear the discussion. Pinocchio says "We'll make him sneeze". You turn and Pinocchio/Gepetto on a separate Raft burning something causing a cloud of black smoke. You hear Monstro getting angry, its intense and shaking

Fifth Scene - (The Biggest Scene of Them All) You see Monstro's mouth open. He's angry. Wind is blowing at you furiously, holding you back from your escape, while water jumping around and splashing you. Pinocchio and Geppetto are paddling trying to get out of the mouth. You hear the sneeze as it's about to come out. SH-BOOM. With launch technology you're sent 50 MPH in 2 seconds, followed by a twenty foot drop.

Sixth Scene - You land on-shore. Pinocchio is unconscious, Geppetto is shaking him frantically. You turn around and you're inside their cottage. Pinocchio exclaims "I'm a real boy!", Gepetto and Jiminy celebrate.

I like it a lot, and would love to ride that! The one thing I would edit, though, it the ending. I feel like you rush into ending the ride, going from being unconscious to being a real boy. I think there should be the scene in there where the blue fairy transforms him. If not, it sort of ends up like the little mermaid attraction and skipping a huge part of the ending.
