Hello I was wondering what everyone refers to a pin? Is it a code for annual pass holders? Sorry kind of new to the forum but am a huge Disney world fan planning a 12day trip next may and can't wait thanks for the input

A PIN code is literally a Personal identification number that Disney sends to certain people. The PIN gives you a discount or free dining and may only be used by the person to whom it is sent.

No one seems to know how Disney chooses to whom to send PIN's, but many people believe the more often you visit Disney websites, register as a user and order Disney vacation planning DVD's that this helps increase your odds of receiving a PIN. Also, go to WDW official website, price trips, save them and don't book...some say this helps "encourage" Disney to send you a PIN to try to get you to book.

I sometimes receive PIN's due to the fact that I hold a Disney Visa card.

Hope this helps explain a little about PIN's....there are others who know more I am sure and hopefully they will chime it too.

I just used a Pin code to book 2 rooms for our upcoming vacation in May. I got free dining this time. We have been going to Disney since 2005 and have a total of 6 trips and 1 cruise. This is the first year I have ever received a Pin code. I actually received another one last month for room discount. The free dining one I actually never received in the mail but when I called Disney they looked up my name and address and told me I did indeed have one. I got this idea to call them from these forums. I've also heard sometimes these pin codes come in emails from Disney. Good luck maybe you'll get one.
