Pin Lovers! Great Deal...

I was picking up the staple items at Publix this evening (i.e. milk, bread, etc.) and I walked by the Battery Isle and saw the Energizer Battery 8 pack with the Disney Happiest Celebration Pins in them! I know everyone knows they are out and hard to find but this store had a sign posted next to the Energizer 8 pack batteries stating $4.99 buy one pack get one pack free!
This means I got a pin and 8 batteries for $2.50!!!:sohappy: Forget the batteries I was looking for pins to trade on ebay anyway and this is the best deal! I bought 4 packs (one for each of us) and my girls want to go back and purchase more for trading. I just wanted the news to get out so you could check out your store!

I've never seen them either. But I'll have to check my local Publix to see if they're running the B1G1 free sale and double check their stock.

They don't have the pins in my local Waldbaum's or Stop 'n Shop, they don't have them at the Home Depot, WHERE ARE THEY HIDING THESE PINS?!?!?!?

We just went to the character outlet and I didn't see any great deals on pins! Where did you find them?

(However, I did get great deals on like 50 bucks of other stuff!)

Sale til Tuesday!

After looking all over the store at Publix, my girls found all they had (8 total) and when we purchased the packs of batteries we asked the cashier and she said the sale lasts til Tuesday! And we asked her if any more would be in and she gave the standard "we should have more in before Tuesday"! She did not even know what the pins were and did not even act surprised that I bought 8 packs of batteries!
Anyway, I figure this is a Publix wide sale on 8-pack AA Energizer battery packs. So look out for them if you can!

I have plenty of free AA batteries that came with my $2.50 pin! That's my take on it!

What kinda deal is this? Do you get this deal all the time or just at a certain time? And is this outlet close to Disney in Florida?

One more thought!

Even if you get the AA 8-pack batteries with the pin for $5.00 then that is still a deal for anyone! You get 8 batteries (can always use them!) and a pin for less than a typical $6.50 pin at the Park!

I gotta ask. Why was this thread moved to Walt Disney Company > Disney Merchandise & Collectibles when there are so many other threads on the News forum about gold Mickey ears and such? If you are going to move one thread, move them all. And there really is no point in moving something as long as the Moved: Threadname still appears in the original forum.

I am so sad! I went to publix today. They had the sale, but no pins. Then i went to walgreens and home depot (where i saw them before) and nothing! I really wanted to get these pins and had everything planned out. I want to cry! :-(

Can't find anymore!

I stopped by other Publix stores and they also have the sale but I can not find anymore paks with the pins! I guess it was too good a deal! One store looked almost completely empty of these type batteries and I bet I know what happened!

I have searched for at least 2 months for the batteries and pins to no avail. I have been to Wal-Mart K-Mart Office Depotand Krogers. How can I find some of those pins????
