Pin Collectors - conversion??

Have any pin collectors heard of pin to pendant conversion? I love the pins, but I'm don't want to spend all that money for them to stay collected on a lanyard. I was wondering if there was any way to convert them to a pendant to wear them on a necklace. Regular non-disney pins have the clasp with the bar; for those they have converters that have a slip-over the bar bail. But, the Disney pins that have the point with the rubber mickey backing, I don't know how you'd convert that. If anyone has seen a bail that might work for this, please let me know!

Something like this, with a hole in the middle to put the pin through would work, but I've never seen anything like that before.

this would work good but i dont think it would be to comfy.
I would thing wearing some pins would be to heavy and make my neck hurt!
but i like the idea of wearing some pins as a charm.
