Pin Code Issue for June 2012

I'm hoping all of you may have an idea or suggestion for this problem.
We booked our Disney trip in December, and will be staying at the Polynesian in a garden room on June 11th.
We received a PIN for free dining during our stay.
Upon contacting Disney, we were told that we were unable to use the PIN because the maximum number of garden rooms had been utilized. Since this is our son's first visit, we really do not want to change rooms-- but only have until March 31st to get the PIN to work.
The Disney reps have suggested that we keep calling back to see if something opens up...
Thoughts? Suggestions? Help!!

For ANY offer, Disney only allocates a certain number of rooms per resort and date for that offer. Usually once that allocation is gone, you cannot get that offer at that resort for those dates, unless they allow a canceled room to go back into that room allocation.

In other words, keep trying to see if a room opens up for your dates and resort with that offer.

Did you have any sort of a discount initially? The difference between a garden view and a lagoon view room is about $100/night. You would probably end up at about the same price, or possibly a bit better depending on the age of your son, using free dining on a lagoon view room as you would paying rack for a garden view - I think? Did you have them price lagoon view or check if any are available?

Has anyone experienced the code working at a later date? I've been calling twice a day!

It depends on what the situation was when they started the discount. If the particular room style was already booked to their satisfaction during the given time period, then they won't offer any discounted room for that style. Yes, free dining is a discount. So if that was the situation, then you are almost definitely out of luck. There is a slight chance that if they did have rooms available for the discount initially that someone canceling would open the room back up, but no one knows if the now open room goes into the discount allotment, or the regular price allotment.
