picture of strollers

Although me and my wife have been to WDW 19 times in 16 years, my wife wants to see what the strollers look like at the parks. We had a baby 7 months ago and are trying to decide whether or not to rent one or have my sister buy a used stroller and bring it along with her (she is driving down). We don't want to use a cheap umbrella stroller since it doesn't provide much protection from the sun.
If anyone has a pic of the strollers, could you post it or PM me?
thanks!

Hi Meeko. We went in 2001 with a 9 month old and found that the rental strollers really weren't suitable for an infant. (Great for older kids, but way too big for a baby.) You'd be better off bringing or buying one. Hope this helps.

Thanks for those pictures, I agree that they would be too big for an infant. We are thinking about going down later this year and were debating on taking our own stroller, after seeing the pictures I know we will have to bring our own.

Hi,
Just like the others have said, I would definitely bring your own stroller for an infant. Unfortunately, the Disney strollers are not very good for an infant. Have a great time in Disney!!!

i am going for the third time in sept with small children. The first time my ds was 14 months and last year ds was almost 3 and dd was almost one. Would never think about using a disney stroller. The biggest issue is that if you hop parks yo need to leave the stroller at the park entrance then hold the kid until you get on a bus/mono then walk to the stroller rental place at the new park and get another stroller. This seems like to musch of a pain. We brought good light stroller. (they foleded up easily and onced folded have a shoulder strap for easy carrying.) Best thing we did to prepare for the trip.

I agree, they are not mean for infants. They are very hard plastic and will get very hot if left in the sun. You are much better off with something that reclines, has a cloth seat and sun shade. They also need to be left at the parks so it's more beneficial to have your own so it's at the resort with you too and in case you go to Downtown Disney.

Make sure if you bring a stroller and plan on using the buses you bring a lightweight stroller that is small and easy to fold up. I went down one year with a big stroller and it was a huge pain! I bought a Maclaren stroller, it is perfect, I LOVE it. It also has a strap on it so you can carry it on your shoulder.

Thank you everyone for your input. You've made my decision for me.

Although she might be too small for them (she should be about 29" by then), I've seen way too many BIG kids in them. Like 4 foot tall kids riding around.

Also make sure that you can distinguish your stroller from the others there! Sometimes strollers are reorganized to help traffic flow, and you may have trouble finding yours if you park it outside an attraction.
