Picnic in the Park

I am not on the dining plan, so I can't advise on that. However DH & I were going to do the picnic in the park this past May but the meals started at 3 people or more (unless things have changed). The lunches looked great, but was too much food for 2 people.

I would like to try this when we go in August. However, the rest of the family is not that interested. I've read good things about this option and the portion size as well.

We're looking into doing this when we go. With the DDP we can pick from either tier for a CS meal credit per serving? Can we use the Child DP credits too? Just curious - thanks!

We did the Picnic in the Park last week - and we loved it! There was four of us and we all got to pick what we wanted for our sandwich and then picked two sides and our dessert. Water is provided as the beverage, which was great - the only issue was it is a small bottle of water - and since we had used the qs dining plan all through the week we were left a bit thirsty. But that was ok we just used snack credits for drinks.

It was fun planning out where we were going to sit to picnic. We sat behind the Tusker House, which was nice as it was shady and off the beaten path so to speak.

The reusable bag was not the "Every Tree Has Character" one - but instead said Animal Kingdom ~ Picnic in the Park. Going by memory here - but I don't think there was a graphic on it.

We would do it again!
