Picking up tickets

Hi there!

My dad and I are heading up to WDW for the One More Disney Day event. [I'm so beyond stoked. ]

I was wondering if we picked up our tickets Tuesday late afternoon/early evening [hopefully beating any kind of crowd] would they activate for Tuesday or do they activate when we use them, which would be Wednesday?

I'm sorry if this is confusing or posted on the wrong board.

The tickets will become active when they are first used, unless it is an annual pass.
