So I'm planning on applying for some of the event PIs when I graduate... I've looked and looked and looooked, but I've hardly seen any information about people doing one..I was wondering if anyone on here has done/ knows someone/ or about to start an event internship, could you give me some information about it?

one more question...

I'm going to graduate in Fall 2011. I know I can apply that fall for the spring internships (Spring 2012), but if I don't get it, can I apply for the fall internships too (Fall 2012)? I wasn't sure how long they let people apply after they graduate

thanks!

I can't help with the first part, but I can help with the second.

You must be enrolled in school in order to apply for an internship. So you will be able to apply for the Spring 12, but not Fall 12 since you won't be enrolled in school when applications are accepted for those.

Ok, I can see you've already done a College Program. I highly recommend staying connected with the company post college program. If you are not seasonal or in a campus rep position definitely try to do so. Campus Rep is preferable because that looks REALLY good when applying for the PIs.

If for some reason you apply for the spring 2012 PI and don't make it, I would also apply for a college program at the same time, just as a backup. As long as you are either enrolled in school or on a college program, regardless of when you graduate, you are eligible to apply for a PI. So you could be doing a spring 2012 CP while applying for a fall 2012 PI at the same time.

Also keep in mind that certain PIs have major-specific requirements, although I don't think events is one of them off the top of my head.

I plan on applying for campus rep next semester, so i'm glad to hear that helps :) and i'm an event planning major, so i hope that would help me too hahaha

and i think i'll definitely apply for a CP for spring, so that way i can apply for the fall again if i don't get the PI the first time

Thank you very much that helps a lot!

and Happy Turkey day!!
